“The first question which the priest and the Levite asked was: ‘If I stop to help this man, what will happen to me?’ But…the good Samaritan reversed the question: ‘If I do not stop to help this man, what will happen to him?’”
― Martin Luther King, Jr.
Welcome to Reaching Out! This page is designed to keep you informed about current Community Service opportunities!
Students are required to do a minimum of 15 hours of community service for each year at BCA. Hours spent working for most non-profit organizations meet this requirement. Some school-sponsored activities also meet the requirement. Students should submit the logged hours on the Community Service Sheet to the school office and the Dean of Students as they accrue. Students are encouraged to go above and beyond this amount. Any student in need of community service opportunities should contact the Mrs. Cottrell at the Lower School.
Current Community Service Opportunities:
- Students in grades 7-12 are invited to volunteer their time selling Christmas trees with the Salem Exchange Club in Salem, NH. There are several days/time-slots that you can sign up to work. If you are interested in learning more about this opportunity, please contact Mrs. Gaiero at the Lower School at email@example.com.
Please join us for our Beyond the Books Tour!

Exciting news! Mr. Thom Stolar, Bradford’s instrumental music teacher, is pleased to announce the release of his daughter, Meghan Stolar Brown’s Christmas album entitled A Manhattan Christmas.
Meghan has been singing and playing piano since she was a toddler and grew up honing her skills in Salem Christian School and Salem High School music productions before moving on to Berklee College and the NYU Steinhardt School of Music.
You can add Meghan’s versions of some classic holiday tunes to your Christmas music collection and contribute to a worthwhile charity at the same time. A Manhattan Christmas is currently available on iTunes, Google Play, and Amazon, and 50-75% of the proceeds from album sales go to support International Rescue Committee (rescue.org).
